A car is the vehicle you steer yourself: your route, your pace, your decision to stop. Nobody sets the timetable and nobody else shares the cabin unless you allow it. What distinguishes this image from other vehicles is that direction is a personal act. A train follows track; a bus follows a route; a car goes where the driver turns it.
