Ruyat — a dream interpretation app by Sentilabs
Last updated: 5 July 2026
Ruyat helps you record and understand your dreams. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what the app actually needs, and we never sell your data.
Ruyat is operated by Sentilabs ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@sentilabs.app.
The core of the app is your dream entries — the text you type, or voice recordings you make which are transcribed to text. Your dreams and their interpretations are stored in your account so you can revisit them.
As you use the app, we derive a compact profile to make interpretations feel personal: recurring symbols, familiar people/themes mentioned in your dreams, and facts you choose to share when the app asks a follow-up question (for example, "are you in a period of change?"). You can view, edit, and delete this information at any time in Settings → About You ("Hakkımda Bildiklerin").
By default you use Ruyat anonymously — no email, name, or phone number required. We create an anonymous account identifier so your dreams stay with you. If you choose to link a Google account (optional), we receive your Google email address and basic profile so you can access your dreams from another device.
We record a small number of product events (for example: app opened, interpretation viewed, reminder enabled, feedback given) to understand how the app is used and improve it. We never include the raw text of your dreams or interpretations in analytics.
Ruyat shows an optional rewarded video ad if you ask for an extra interpretation on the same day. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may use device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. See "Advertising" below.
To interpret and transcribe your dreams, your dream text is sent to third-party AI services. These providers process the text to return a result and act as our processors:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google (Gemini) | Generating the dream interpretation |
| Groq | Speech-to-text for voice notes and signal extraction |
| Supabase | Database, authentication and hosting (EU region) |
| Google AdMob | Optional rewarded video advertising |
| Google Sign-In | Optional account linking |
Your dream content is sent to Google Gemini and Groq solely to produce your interpretation/transcription. We do not use your dream content to train our own models.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt). Data is encrypted at rest by the managed database and transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Access is protected so that each user can only read their own records.
Rewarded ads are optional and only appear when you choose to watch one for an extra interpretation — never before your first interpretation of the day, and never as forced full-screen interruptions. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use device identifiers and advertising IDs as described in Google's advertising policy.
To make a request, email privacy@sentilabs.app.
You can delete your data at three levels, at any time:
Deletion is immediate in the app; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within the backup cycle (no later than 30 days). We keep only an anonymized deletion record (timestamp + internal id, no content) for support/disputes. If you no longer have the app, you can still request deletion — see the dedicated Account & Data Deletion page (Türkçe). Anonymous accounts that remain inactive for a long time may also be removed.
Ruyat is intended for users aged 12 and over. It is not directed at children under this age.
Ruyat is provided for entertainment and cultural purposes, drawing on classical dream interpretation traditions and modern psychology. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or other professional advice.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Significant changes will be communicated in the app where appropriate.
